In the latest version of the Vietcombank VCB Digibank banking application, customers can update their biometrics as required. Your device will be asked to scan the content information on the CCCD card along with taking a photo of your face for confirmation. All information after scanning is displayed on the application for us to check. Below are instructions for updating Vietcombank's biometrics.
How to update Vietcombank biometrics
Step 1:
First you need to update the VCB Digibank banking application to the latest version.
Step 2:
Then log in to your VCB Digibank account. Once you have accessed the VCB Digibank application, in the Favorite functions section, click on it Biometric Update feature.
Step 3:
Next the application asks you Take a photo of the front of the chip-mounted CCCD.
Then we proceed scan QR code displayed in the right corner of the front of the chip-embedded CCCD card.
Step 4:
Move on to the new step, you are asked Read the content at the chip card on the back of the CCCD card. The phone must have NFC technology to read the chip card. We put the back of the CCCD against the back of the phone according to the instructions displayed on the screen. Next, take a photo of all the information on the back of the chip-embedded CCCD card.
Step 5:
After you have finished capturing information at CCCD, continue face authentication for transactions where authentication is required. You set the camera according to the instructions on the screen to scan your entire face.
Step 6:
Show interface Fill in personal information as shown in the picture. We fill in all the information as in the CCCD card.
Then the system will Send verification OTP code about your phone number for you to fill out in the application when requested.
So we have completed the process of updating Vietcombank bank account biometrics.
