Access the message on Instagram then select the photo icon to send.
Select one or more images in the album you want to send and you will then see an HD icon in the upper right corner. Touch HD icon to send photos at resolution in Instagram messages. Photos are not compressed as usual when you enable this feature.
However, you should also note that when sending HD photos on Instagram, the quality will be higher, so the file size sent will also be larger. Sending HD photos on Instagram also takes more time than sending regular photos and takes up more space in the recipient's phone.
