There are many different ways to insert ticks into Word with very simple steps for inserting ticks in Word. Checkmarks in Word appear in survey documents, list documents, forms, job applications, etc. Checkmark types in Word often have v, check, and uncheck checkmarks depending on each individual's requirements. documents you need to process. Insert check marks in Word using keyboard shortcuts
Step 1:

At the beginning of your content Enter the number sequence 2612 to Insert a square with an x.
Step 3:
Then you Highlight the number 2612 and press the key combination Alt + X. The results will be displayed square with x mark as shown below.
We just need to copy this x square down the remaining lines of content and we're done.
Step 4:
In addition to inserting check marks with squares with x marks as above, you can also add blank unchecked squares to print Word documents as direct survey documents, or squares with check marks.

2. Create fixed marks in Word
As mentioned above, the Symbol tool also has available types of traces for users to choose to use.
Step 1:
Click on the content you want to insert a checkmark. Click next Insert tab on the toolbar then select continue Symbol. Press More Symbols… to expand the list of icons.
Step 2:
In the Symbol dialog box interface, users find the type Wingdings font. Show the list of icons, scroll down below and you will see a line of checkmark icons. Users choose the type of check mark they want to use, depending on the requirements of the document.
Click on the tick type you want to use and then click Insert button under.
The check mark result will be displayed at the content location where the mouse pointer is placed as shown below.

3. Create a checkbox in Word

The result will be a checkbox on Word as shown below.
After creating the checkbox, if you want to change the box size without changing the text size, click on the checkbox and then click again. Properties.

The size of the checkbox will change but the text size remains the same.
