What is Microsoft Edge Game Assist?
Microsoft Edge Game Assist (Preview) is the first game browser to bring a web browsing experience focusing on the rich game – including access to browser data from PC and mobile devices.
Game Assist is a special version of Microsoft Edge optimized for PC game and can appear on the beginning of your game in the game Bar. It recognizes the game and will suggest tips and instructions for what you are playing. It also shared the same browser data with Edge on PC so that the information you are interested in can always be accessed while you play – including your favorite section, history, cookies, formation forms, etc. This means that you do not need to log in to the websites and easily access what you care about.
You can even quickly access your favorite services like Discord, Twitch, Spotify or any other site or website in the side bar. And, like other bar game widgets, you can pin the Assist game above your game to be able to refer to the instructions or watch videos while playing.
Game Assist (Preview) is accessed through game bar, an overlay game that allows you to use widgets in the game including Xbox Social to connect with your friends and track your achievements, Spotify, Teams and game widgets To take screenshots and game clips, tweak audio settings and track system performance.
With the Edge Stable 132 release, the game Assist is available without any insider software or does not need to change the default browser, making it easier to use on your game PC.

Install Widget “Microsoft Edge Game Assist” from Microsoft Edge
1. Open Microsoft Edge.
2. Click the 3 -dot button Setting and more (ALT + F) and click Settings.
3. Click on Appearance In the left compartment.
Note: If you do not see the left side, click the 3 -bar menu button on the upper left or expand the horizontal border of the Microsoft Edge window until it is seen.
4. Click the button Install widget give Game Assist (Preview).
5. Once installed, you can click on Open To open Widget “Microsoft Edge Game Assist” in the game Bar.
6. Now, you can close the tab Settings If desired.
Uninstall Widget “Microsoft Edge Game Assist” from game bar
1. Open the bar game (Win + G).
2. Click the button Widget menu On Home Bar and click on Widget Store.
3. Perform the following steps in Widget Store:
- Click the tab Installed.
- In “All Installed”, click the button More Options (3 dots) For Widget “Microsoft Edge Game Assist”.
- Click Uninstall.
4. Click on Yes, I'm Sure To confirm.
5. When the widget has completed the installation, you can close (X) Widget Store.
