The new Microsoft Edge has a built -in account and account synchronization feature as well as password on all devices using the same Microsoft account. Add passwords to Microsoft Edge
To add a password to Edge, you do the following:
Step 1: Sign in/register to the website to save passwords on Edge

Password management on Microsoft Edge
You can change or delete any password saved from Microsoft Edge's Settings menu.
1. In the edge window, select The icon of three dots In the right corner of the screen> Settings.

2. In the tab Profiles > Select Passwords To see the password stored in the current user account.


Here, you will see a listed password list (in the section Saved passwords). You can reset the password management configuration on Microsoft, including the automatic login option in saved websites.
Modify the password stored on Edge
The list of saved passwords will be in the item Saved passwords of the menu Passwords. To edit a saved password, select the three dots icons and then click Details.

Delete the password stored on Edge
If you want to delete a password saved in Microsoft Edge, click on the three dots icons in the section Saved passwords > Select Delete. That user account will be deleted immediately.

If you regret it, you choose Undo In the warning dialog box in the right corner of the edge window to cancel deletion. However, you only have a few seconds to undo, so make sure you want to delete the password before doing it.

Password exported on Edge to CSV
If you are about to switch to another web browser, or use a third -party specialized password manager, it is best to export and delete all the passwords stored in Edge.
All you have to do is export the login data saved on Edge into a CSV file, and then enter this file itself into specialized password management tools. Tools such as 1password, Lastpass or Bitwarden … all allow you to enter your password easily in this way.
(Warning: This CSV file is not encrypted and it will contain all your user names and passwords in pure text format. So make sure you can keep the file absolutely safe).
1. Open Edge> Click the icon Three dots … In the top right corner.
2. You click on the option “Settings” (Setting).
3. Settings interface will open, in part “Profile”(Profile), select the option”Passwords” (Password).
4. From the part “Saved passwords”(The password was saved), click on the three -dot menu icon and select the option”Export passwords”(Password export).
5. Click the option “”Export passwords“In the notice, it is turned on to confirm.
6. If reminded, enter your computer login password.
7. Name and select the location to save the CSV file, then click the “Save” (Save). Microsoft Edge will immediately export and save the CSV file to the position you have chosen.
Delete all the password stored in Microsoft Edge
To delete all the passwords saved in Edge you do as the steps below:
1. Open Edge's settings by clicking on the icon Three dots On the right side of the Edge toolbar and select the option “Settings”.
2. Choose the tab “Privacy, Search, and Services”(Privacy, search and service) on the left
3. In the right window, roll down to find “Clear Browsing Data”(Delete browsing data)>”Choose What to Clear”(Select the content to delete).
4. From menu “Time Range”(Time range), choose the option”All Time“And accumulate in the square next to the option”Passwords” (Password).
5. Click the “button”Clear Now”(Delete now).
Restoring Microsoft Edge password system
By default, Microsoft Edge will automatically ask you to save the password. If you want to turn off this feature, select the slider next to the option Offer to save passwords.

Although the dialog box requires it off, you can still choose Security key icon On the address bar to save manual passwords.
If Microsoft Edge realized a site site, it would use the password details saved to log in automatically for you. To turn off this feature, slide the slider edge option Sign in automatically.

As part of the security feature, Edge also automatically hidden when you type the password online. To check if the password is correct, choose Eye icon To display.
