Method 1: Manually resize
1. Resize columns equally
Move the mouse to the top of the column headers and select the columns that need to be resized. Move the mouse to the boundary line between the two columns until the mouse pointer turns into a 4-way arrow, then hold down the mouse and drag to the right to increase the column width, or drag to the left to decrease the column width.
Users adjust the size so that the columns are equal.
2. Resize the cell lines equally
To change the line width, hold down the left mouse button and drag up to decrease the line height or drag and drop down to increase the line height. Adjust the size of lines equally depending on the content entered in the table.
Method 2: Enter dimensions directly
1. Resize columns equally
The user highlights all the columns that need to be resized and then clicks Home tabselect continue Format and press select Column Width.
Display a small dialog box to enter the size you want to change for the column and click OK.
The result will be evenly sized columns in the table.
2. Change the row height
We also highlight the entire Excel table, click on the Home tab, and select next Format then click Row Height.
You enter the size you want to change for each row and click OK to apply.
Immediately the height of the rows in the table will be adjusted to equal sizes, exactly according to the entered size.
Noteif the user does not know how to enter dimensions for row and column heights, click and hold the left mouse button on the vertical line at the top of the column header to see the current size of the column. Click and hold the left mouse button on the horizontal line in the row title to see the size.
