How to enable Track Changes in Google Docs
The Track Changes tool in Google Docs is called Suggestions. We will enable Suggest mode in Google Docs.
At the interface in Google Docs, you are in the default Edit mode. Click pen icon then choose to Recommended mode.
The Google Docs document will now switch to proposal mode. Now you proceed to edit or enter content in Google Docs as usual.
These Any content will be deleted there will be blue dash, New content added there will be blue letters. Old content in the document that has not changed is still black.
How to use Track Changes in Docs when sharing documents
When you share a document so that others can participate in editing the document in Docs, when the participants make edits, an editing notification will also be displayed.
Step 1:
First, the user clicks Files section then select select Share below to select the mode to invite others to participate in editing the document.
Step 2:
This time displays the interface to the user Enter the email address you want to invite to edit the document. In sharing mode for the document, you choose to enter editing mode so they also have the right to change the document content.
Step 3:
Next, the participant receives an invitation to edit in the email. They will edit the content of the Google Docs document and you will also see the content that person changes.
During the editing process, we will see the content being replaced. If you want accept suggested edits then press tracesor an X to cancel this proposed edit and keep the old content of the document intact.
You can also click on the change notification to open the name tag interface if needed.
