Warning: USB with a minimum size of 8GB will work. This operation will erase the content of the USB, so make sure to back up all the data you want to keep first.
Here is how to use Media Creation Tool to create USB Boot installed Windows 11:
- Choose your language and version. The default settings are proposed to work well. Press Next.
- Plug the USB into the PC. In the tool, select USB. Press Next.
- Select your USB from the list that appears. Press Next. (If your USB is not on the list, click Refresh Drive List. If you still do not display, you may first need a USB format. When formatting, choose FAT32 For the USB file system).
- The tool will start downloading and write the file to the USB. When completed, click Finish.
Create DVD/USB Boot Windows 11 with ISO Image
If the above method is not effective, you can do it in the old way: Windows ISO Windows in a removable means such as a DVD or USB drive.

Any file has tail .iso are the exact copy of the disk. It is a virtual copy of CD or DVD, with the same file structure and the same data. The ISO copy is called the “image” of the original.

How to create a Windows 10 installation vehicle
Windows 10 Media Creation Tool is available free from Microsoft and offers many different ways to install Windows 10.

This tool can:
- Update PC to Windows 10.
- Create USB Boot Windows 10.
- Download the ISO Windows 10 file to your computer to create manually.
The second and third option allows us to put Windows installation in the boot. The article will briefly present the steps for each method.
Create USB Boot Windows 10 with Windows Media Creation Tool

- Select Create Installation Media for Another PC. Press Next.

- Select the ISO file. Press Next. When reminded, select the file to save the file to the drive.
- The tool will start downloading the ISO file and update you about its process. When completed, click Finish.
- Use specialized software to write the ISO ISO into removable storage. Go down the separate sections below for instructions, depending on whether you are saving DVD or USB.
How to flash Windows Iso to USB
If you can't use Windows Media Creation Tool to create a USB Boot, you can flash Windows ISO manually to your USB.
The simplest way to create USB Boot is to use Rufus. Download and open by right -clicking on the drive and selecting Run as administrator.

This is how to use Rufus to write Windows ISO into USB:
Rufus gives you the option to use the GPT file system for the UEFI and MBR systems for the BIOS system. The program can detect the system you have; If you don't know which system you have, let Rufus choose for you!
In addition, if Rufus is not effective for you, there are many alternative tools to create USB boots that you can try. Rufus only works on Windows.
