YouTube Music recently launched the Pin to Speed Dial feature, which helps you instantly access the content you like right from the app's Home page. Below are instructions for using the Quick Play shelf feature on YouTube Music.
What is the YouTube Music Instant Stream shelf?
The Instant Play shelf is a feature of YouTube Music that allows you to customize the Express Play widget accessible from the Home tab. This feature lets you pin your favorite music to the Home tab, giving you quick access to songs, playlists or albums you like.
Users can pin any song, album, playlist, radio station, or video to the Home tab's Quick Play widget.
Instructions for using the Quick Play shelf on YouTube Music
Step 1:
You find the song, video or content you want to pin the most. Next click 3 dots icon in the top right corner. Show options below, Tap Pin to Quick Play shelf in the menu displayed. Continue with other content you want to pin.
Step 2:
To view the pinned item, click on it Home section then you will see it immediately Quick Play section with content you've pinned. Songs or content will have a pin icon in the content thumbnail.
Step 3:
If you want delete pinned content in the Quick Play shelf on YouTube Music, long press on the content select Unpin from Quick Play shelf.
