Google Forms is used to conduct surveys with large numbers of participants, helping creators easily collect opinions and feedback. The creator just needs to make the survey file public and then anyone with the link can respond to the survey. While doing so, we can limit survey responses on Google Forms. 1. Limit responses on Forms using a Google account
One way to limit answers in Google Forms is to limit via Google account to avoid duplicate questions, or participate in surveys multiple times with the same Google account.
At the Google Forms interface, we click cog icon then select Limited to 1 reply to set up when you can log in to your Google account to participate in the survey.
2. Limit answers on Google Forms
On Google Forms, there is a time limit for answering questions if participants answer late, in case you have the allotted time to participate in the survey.
Click on the survey panel Question sectionLater Turn off Accept feedback mode to return to the mode as shown below. Below is the message you want to send to those who want to download your survey to respond when it expires.
3. Automatically limit Google Forms responses
In case the user wants to limit automatic responses, we need to install an add-on.
Step 1:
At the Google Forms interface, click 3 dots icon then select Add-ons.
Then you find it formLimiter widget and click plus icon below to install the extension for Google Forms.
To use the formLimiter extension we need to Allow The utility uses some of the terms below.
Step 2:
After installation is complete, click expansion icon then select formLimiterthen select Enter Set limit to limit survey participation.
Step 3:
Now display the working interface on the right edge of the screen. You click Select to choose Limit type for survey form want to use. For example you will limited by date and time. At this point you will Select the end date and time to accept the survey. Press Save and enable.
Or choose Number Of Form Responses to Limit the number of survey submissions. You enter the number of surveys you want to limit and once that number runs out, those who submit surveys will not be accepted.
In case the user wants to delete the created settings, click on the utility name again, select Set limit and then select Disable to delete.
