Guide to re -issue CCCD card with online chip
Step 1:
First you access the public police service portal according to the link below and proceed to log in with your VNEID account.
Currently, you will have to link VNEID to the national public service portal or other ports to perform online documents on the system.
Step 2:
Transfer to the interface on the gate, click on Online application submission then Choose the administrative field You click on CCCD card level and management To search.
Step 3:
User Click on the re -grant of citizen identity cards (implemented at the provincial level). Afterward Click to submit the application To apply for a new CCCD card with a new chip.
Step 4:
We will Check all personal information and then choose the provincial police agency that you are registering for permanent residence. Click continue Select the CCCD information to acquire information.
Step 5:
Then the user will see Application for CCCD Chip exchange. Click to confirm to receive the votes and the receiving code. You need to print this voucher and go to the meeting point over time to re -issue CCCD cards.
Subjects need to change from CCCD to identity card from July 1, 2024
ID cards are new identity papers and will be applied from July 1, 2024. Pursuant to the Law on Degree No. 26/2023/QH15, from July 1, 2024, if CCCD card expires, citizens are required to change from CCCD to identity card. In addition, based on Article 23 of the 2014 Citizenship Law, Article 24 of the 2023 Law on Degree, citizens must change from CCCD to identity card from July 1, 2024 in the following cases:
- The CCCD card is not used.
- Change information about them, buffer letters, names; Democratic characteristics.
- Redefine gender, hometown.
- There are errors on information on the citizen identity card.
- Lost citizen identity card;
- Return to Vietnamese nationality in accordance with the Law on Vietnamese Nationality.
Thus, from July 1, if the CCCD card expires, citizens are required to go to the ID card with a new model.
